A living, breathing text world — where every choice is permanent, and every story outlives its hero.

What is this place?

Realms of Satheria is a browser-based fantasy world of 126 regions across two continents, played entirely in text and imagination. You create a single mortal soul and guide them through a life: travelling the roads, fighting what prowls beyond the towns, befriending (or fleeing) the people you meet, claiming land, raising buildings, joining guilds — and, if you're bold, shaping the fate of nations through the war brewing at the world's edge.

The world keeps its own calendar. Seasons of real time become years in Aetheria: characters age, citizens fall in love and raise children, the young come of age and take up adventure, and the old are laid to rest. The world you log into tomorrow is not quite the world you left.

The pillars

⚰️ Death is real. There is no respawn. When your character falls — to a blade, to the deep places, or simply to time — their story ends, and a memorial remains. But a life well-lived leaves heirs: romance, family, and lineage let your next chapter begin as the child of your last.

🧭 One world, shared. Trade with other players through escrowed offers, raise guild banners together, duel their shadows in the arena, and race them up the leaderboards. Their marks on the world are as permanent as yours.

📖 Stories over stats. A ten-chapter main saga — The Bloodfang Uprising — plus personal storylines for the companions who walk beside you, dungeons with their own dark histories, and a hundred small tales in the mouths of the people you pass.

🛠 A crafted life. Gather in the wilds, work the forge, tame the roads with mounts and ships, build income from claimed land, and leave behind more than a name.

Joining the world

Registration is by invitation code — Aetheria grows deliberately, not virally. If you hold a code, create your account and step through. If you don't, write to us and tell us what draws you here.

Free accounts live one life at a time (death frees the slot — the story continues). Paid membership supports the world's upkeep and allows multiple simultaneous characters.
